A ballet about the mysterious Harry Houdini.
The first-ever ballet dedicated to the mysterious and iconic figure of Harry Houdini. He could free himself from handcuffs, chains, the most terrifying prisons and the most heavily guarded cells—hanging upside down at great heights or underwater, at sea or in a Chinese torture chamber—no one and nothing could ever stop him. Thousands of spectators around the world marveled at his mysterious mastery, and he kept devising more and more impossible situations to escape from. He constantly risked his life, and he always won. Were there chains from which he was never able to break free? And how did death finally catch up with him?
The performance is presented by the Jerusalem Ballet.
