The concert by Lev Elgardt and Neta Gonen will take place on October 11 at 19:00 at the Yemenite Jewish Heritage Center in Rehovot.
According to tradition, part of the concert proceeds will go toward the development of i-Teatron, a family theater space for children with diverse needs and their families.
On October 11 in Rehovot: an evening of live music featuring bass, French jazz, beloved popular songs, and hits.
Lev Elgardt, a rare basso profondo, is a graduate of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory and the Mariinsky Theatre’s Academy of Young Singers, a participant in The Voice, and a prizewinner of international competitions. The program includes Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Magomaev, famous arias, and songs in Hebrew.
Neta Gonen will bring a completely different mood to the evening: French jazz, beloved songs and hits from past years, temperament, lightness, and vibrant stage energy. It is precisely the contrast between the two voices and two musical personalities that promises to make the program especially lively and exhilarating.
At the grand piano and leading the ensemble: Alexander Slutsky, pianist and composer.
