A workshop on the human senses and technology will take place in the multidisciplinary laboratory, Science Garden Building. Intended for children aged 6–12 accompanied by an adult.
Do we see everything around us? Are our senses capable of perceiving everything around us? And are the senses of all creatures the same?
Humans have many wondrous and diverse abilities, thanks to which we experience the colors and many layers of our world. But it turns out that our senses also have quite a few limitations, and that other things exist in reality that we do not experience. What can we experience, and what can’t we? Come get to know our senses and their boundaries in a workshop where we will experience them fully and up close!
In the workshop, we will try to feel things that humans are generally unable to sense, and we will make an effort to improve our natural senses, expand them, and add to them—with the help of technology. And here is a thought challenge for you: Try to imagine already—what things might we be able to sense or understand better with the help of technology? Will technology really be able to replace our senses?
Join the workshop and let’s think together!
Advance registration is required, even if the ticket is free.
