For years, the problem of consciousness was considered a question that science could not investigate: How does our conscious experience emerge from brain activity? And is the world really as we perceive it?
In this lecture, Professor Modrik will reveal the hidden side of perception and thought processes: the unconscious processes that cause us to perceive the world differently and understand ourselves in ways that are not always faithful to reality.
Liad Modrik is a journalist, presenter, lecturer, and professor of neuroscience, as well as a member of the academic faculty at Tel Aviv University.
Over the years, she has held a variety of positions as a news, legal, and current-affairs reporter on Channel 2, and hosted programs on Galei Tzahal, including Escape Plan alongside Guri Alfi, A Historic Hour, and others.
As a lecturer and moderator, Liad is one of the most sought-after professionals in her field. She is invited to international conferences, corporate conferences, cultural events, and more.
