Dos and Don’ts Between Crawling and Walking
Ages: Designed for babies from the crawling stage through standing and walking while holding onto furniture or pushing furniture.
This session will shine a special spotlight on movement through space. We will discuss:
- Crawling—is there a “correct” way to crawl?
- Which comes first: sitting independently, crawling, or standing?
- From being placed in a sitting position to sitting independently—let’s get on the same page.
- The path to standing—a small step for humankind!
- Developmental toys: which ones, how many, and where?
- The contribution of movement through space
- We will learn all this through movement-based activities with the little ones!
We will dispel myths and scare stories and enjoy time together.
My name is Gali Schwartz-Graysman. I am a mother of three and have been a developmental physiotherapist for babies and children for 16 years. I own a private clinic and serve as a consultant for the Ramatgan’Chik project and the Reg’im Developmental Playroom.
I invite you parents, especially during this difficult period, to join me for developmental time.
The sessions will take place on Tuesdays: 6.10, 13.10, 20.10, and 3.11.
Please note: There will be no session on Tuesday, 27.10, Election Day.
Registration is for the entire workshop. If you miss a session, it cannot be made up.
