Rolling Forward – Preparing for Rolling and Crawling

The workshop focuses on the first developmental milestones on the way to mobility. We will learn how to encourage rolling, strengthen the shoulder girdle and core muscles, and practice weight shifting. We will work on preparation for crawling through play, touch, and simple activities that can easily be practiced at home.

We will discuss signs of typical development, mistakes worth avoiding, and how to create an environment that encourages movement, curiosity, and development.

Liran holds a bachelor’s degree from Ben-Gurion University and is soon to graduate with a master’s degree from Tel Aviv University. She diagnoses and treats babies and children with developmental delays, side preference, motor clumsiness, and more.

The ticket includes time in the play center from 9:30–12:00.

Registration is for the full workshop. No refunds or cancellations.

In the current round, the workshop is held in a workshop room, where use of the play space is limited.

Important Information

• Entry to the play center is without shoes. Parents must wear socks. Anyone who forgets may purchase a pair of socks on-site for 14 NIS.
• Visitors arriving with strollers can use the stroller parking area outside the facility. Please bring a lock to secure the stroller.

What Is Available at the Play Center?

• A special area for babies from birth to age one.
• An area for children aged one to three, including:
  • Developmental games
  • A variety of age-appropriate toys
  • A reading corner
  • Additional games
• A space for workshops and activities for parent groups, as advertised.
• A professional team specializing in nutrition and breastfeeding, speech therapy, physiotherapy, and child development, available to accompany visitors and answer parents’ questions during play.
• A private consultation room with our professional staff, who can guide and advise parents by advance registration.
• “Coffee Moments” for parents.
• A child-friendly feeding corner for light meals.
• Adjacent restrooms and a changing area.

Opening Hours

Sunday–Thursday and Saturday:

• Morning session: 9:30–12:00
• Afternoon session: 13:00–15:30
• Late-afternoon session: 16:00–18:30

Friday: 9:00–13:30

On Fridays and Saturdays, one additional accompanying adult may enter for a fee of 10 NIS, payable on-site by credit card or cash. Any additional accompanying adult must purchase a full-price ticket in advance through the website.

Raga’im Play Center is intended for children up to age three only.

Sunday–Thursday: The ticket is for one toddler and one accompanying adult aged 18 or over. Any additional accompanying adult or toddler must purchase a full-price ticket in advance through the website.

Residents of Ramat Gan may enter upon presenting proof of residency, such as an ID card, municipal tax bill, electricity bill, or similar document.

Ticket cancellation: Up to 24 hours before the activity.

As part of a shared educational process for parents and children, we invite you to help tidy the toys and return them to their places when the closing song, “Games and Mess,” is played approximately 10 minutes before the end of each session. Your cooperation helps maintain order and create a pleasant environment for everyone. Thank you!

We take into consideration children with life-threatening allergies. Due to the risk of allergens, do not bring the following into Raga’im:

• Peanuts
• Fish
• Sesame
• Nuts
• Legumes
• Any food that may contain these ingredients

“Small Touch, Big Development” – Infant Massage and Development Workshop

4 sessions during September, on Thursdays: 3.9, 10.9, 17.9, 24.9

“Small Touch, Big Development” is a massage and development workshop for babies aged 6 weeks to 5 months.

In the workshop, we will learn how touch, movement, and daily communication can support a baby’s development, strengthen the bond between parent and baby, and help with calming and regulation.

We will practice simple and pleasant massage techniques, discuss the stages of typical development, and receive tools for creating a supportive home environment that promotes the baby’s development.
