The play “The Snow Queen” will take place on December 28, 2026, at the Beit Golda Theater in Petah Tikva. A fairy tale for the whole family.
Winter blankets cities in white snow, festive lights glow in the windows, and children begin to believe in miracles. But at this very time, the cold and cruel Snow Queen flies across the world in an icy sleigh. There is only one thing she fears most—a warm, kind, loving heart.
The Shaul Tiktiner Israeli Children’s and Youth Theater invites children and adults on an amazing journey through Hans Christian Andersen’s famous fairy tale and Yevgeny Schwartz’s play.
Audiences will follow the story of Gerda, a brave girl who sets out to find her friend Kai. Along the way, she meets the kind Prince and Princess, the mischievous Little Robber Girl, the Reindeer, and other beloved fairy-tale characters.
The Snow Queen is a play about true friendship, loyalty, courage, and the power of love—capable of melting even the coldest heart.
Colorful sets and costumes, magical lighting effects, music by Igor Stravinsky, lively dances, and the talented actors’ performances will create the atmosphere of a true winter fairy tale.
