A Few Words and a Song – Stories and Songs of a Beloved Land
A moving, fascinating performance seasoned with humor, featuring musician Arnon Friedman and content creator Shay Barak.
With charm, the performance tells the stories of the songwriters, Tel Aviv, Jaffa, and, of course, Jerusalem—and naturally… the songs.
Along the way, Arnon will play and sing, accompanied by piano, songs by Ehud Manor, Naomi Shemer, Haim Hefer, and Yoram Taharlev, including: “The Ballad of Yoel Moshe Salomon,” “A Night on Achziv Beach,” “Me, Shimon and Little Moiz,” “Jerusalem of Gold,” “Tel Aviv,” “Your Wonders Have Not Yet Ended,” “For All These,” “The Locomotive,” and more of the finest classics of songs about a beloved land.
The lyrics are projected on a screen, and the audience is invited to join in the singing.
