A musical show for children on 28/09/2026 at 10:30 at 5 HaMaccabim Street, Petah Tikva. A comedic adventure about three siblings and a magical talking cat.
Kramel is a musical play based on the bestselling, critically acclaimed book by Meira Barnea Goldberg, winner of the Devorah Omer Prize.
Ruby, Gol, and El-El, three orphaned siblings, inherit a castle, a factory, and a cat from their wealthy uncle. The youngest son, Ruby, inherits the cat.
Together with their adoptive mother Mila and her good friend Sep, they move into the magnificent castle, where Ruby meets his cat, Kramel, and discovers—to his surprise—that he is a talking cat with wondrous magical abilities. The evil housekeeper, Mrs. Bloom, also lives in the castle. She plans to take control of the siblings’ inheritance with the help of her beautiful daughter, Helena.
Things begin to grow complicated when Mrs. Bloom turns the siblings against one another and tries to steal the cat; El-El and Gol fall in love with Helena and fight for her affection; Ruby discovers Mrs. Bloom’s plot and tries to thwart it with Kramel’s help; and, in addition, an orphan named Jane arrives at the castle, followed by Cecilia, the greedy director of the orphanage, who also covets the magical cat.
With Mila’s help, the siblings will learn that the best way to face danger and defeat wicked enemies is to stand united. Ruby will discover that it is much easier to overcome danger when you have a clever, wondrous cat who knows how to turn stones into gold.
