A festive show by Haim Uliel and the Sfatayim band marking 40 years of creative work, on November 12, 2026, at 8:30 PM at the Ofakim Cultural Center.
A tribute to 40 years of creativity by the groundbreaking artist who connected Moroccan music with Israeli rock. Haim Uliel, founder of the band “Sfatayim” and the pioneer who brought neighborhood sounds into the heart of the mainstream, making an entire country sing in Moroccan Arabic and feel at home, celebrates 40 years of creativity in an energetic and captivating performance.
In the show, Uliel combines deep roots with the distortion of the electric guitar. A cross-generational musical journey, taking the audience through the central milestones of his rich career, with classics by “Sfatayim” such as “Ahlan wa Sahlan,” “Mama,” and “Haya Haya,” alongside solo hits including “Man and Violin” and “Let Him Go,” as well as special performances of the iconic collaborations to which he gave his unique imprint, such as “Newspaper” with Kobi Oz, collaborations with Matti Caspi, Lior Elmaleh, and more surprises.
The show is a celebration of rhythm, color, and exuberant joy. It is not just a performance, but a tribute to an entire culture, suitable for all audiences—from those who grew up on “Sfatayim” to the younger generation that appreciates quality rock with soul.
After 40 years on stage, Haim Uliel arrives at the height of his powers, accompanied by an excellent band, to get the audience out of their seats and prove that rock—and Moroccan rock—are more alive, vibrant, and joyful than ever.
