Dates: February 4–6, 2027
The excursion includes accommodation, meals, bus transportation from central Israel, and two off-road transfers.
Thursday, February 4, 2027 – From Tzihor Junction to Vardit Stream
9 km from Tzihor Junction via Tzihor Stream and Paran Stream, one of the largest streams in the Negev. Hopefully, the hike will end with a wet and joyful experience in Vardit Canyon, one of the most magical places in Israel.
Friday, February 5, 2027 – From Barak Stream to Vardit Canyon
16 km – Barak Stream alluvial fan, Barak Canyon, Barak Plateau, and Hadud Cliffs. Walking on a plateau west of the Arava, as far as Vardit Canyon.
Saturday, February 6, 2027 – From Ashush Stream to Sapir
17 km. Hiking in the Central Arava: Moa Ruins, Tzofar, the Springs Route, and the Incense Route.
Registration and payment to secure the trip must be completed by January 10, 2027.
The trip is conditional on a minimum of 20 participants and limited to 35 hikers.
