🎙️ A singing and storytelling performance with Yoram Rotem and Kfir Oz
A musical journey following Yoram Taharlev, one of Israel’s greatest lyricists, who wrote more than a thousand songs over the years and left a profound mark on Hebrew music.
🎼 His songs tell the story of the country—its landscapes, people, and way of life—alongside patriotic songs, military-ensemble songs, and songs that over the years became an inseparable part of Israel’s soundtrack.
✨ During the morning, Yoram Rotem will share the stories behind the songs, while Kfir Oz will perform Taharlev’s songs accompanied by live music. A lyric presentation will accompany the performance and invite the audience to join in the singing.
🎤 About the Participants
🎙️ Narrator and Host: Yoram Rotem – Radio broadcaster, researcher of Hebrew music, and one of the cultural figures most closely associated with Israeli music. In his lectures and performances, he combines extensive knowledge, fascinating stories, and a deep love for the songs that shaped the country’s soundtrack.
🎹 Vocals and Instrumental Accompaniment: Kfir Oz – Singer and musician who gives beloved songs moving performances and invites the audience to join in the singing in a warm, nostalgic atmosphere.
