A concert of music from “Harry Potter” will take place on December 26, 2026, at 20:00 at the Arik Einstein Auditorium, Netanya.
The material the musicians work with has itself become part of film-music history. John Williams wrote the scores for the first three films: Philosopher’s Stone (2001), Chamber of Secrets (2002, with an adaptation of his themes by William Ross), and Prisoner of Azkaban (2004). The music for the first and third films was nominated for an Oscar. Other composers took up the baton: Patrick Doyle wrote the music for Goblet of Fire (2005), Nicholas Hooper for Order of the Phoenix (2007) and Half-Blood Prince (2009), and Alexandre Desplat for the two parts of Deathly Hallows (2010 and 2011).
