An 11-session training course for Memory Ambassadors begins on 11 October 2026 at the Ramat Yadin-Dora Community Center in Netanya. Course fee: NIS 600.
The day is not far off when Holocaust survivors will no longer live among us. Who will tell their story to future generations?
Following the success of the previous two training cohorts, the Netanya Municipality – Department for Senior Citizens in the Welfare Administration invites you to come and become first-person Memory Ambassadors.
The Memory Ambassadors will undergo 11 training sessions in a “master class” format, led by a skilled instructional team and top-tier actors such as Sharon Alexander and Esti Zakheim. They will learn to collect data and testimonies, write, edit, and present the story to an audience.
At the end of the training process, the “Memory Ambassadors” will tell Holocaust stories in the city’s educational and community institutions, at ceremonies and events.
Starting: Sunday, October 11, 2026
Location: Ramat Yadin–Dora Community Center (35 Nahum Street)
Time: 17:30–20:30
How much does it cost? Only 600 NIS
