For the artists featured in this exhibition, it was aliyah—the move to Israel and the beginning of life in a new country.
A new language, new people, a new reality—and their own perspective on Israel, conveyed through their art.
Their paintings express thoughts and feelings, pain and hope, love and friendship, the search for one’s place, and the gradual realization that this place is becoming home.
