Viko, a 15-year-old boy, lives in a world that gives him no breaks. His father has disappeared from his life, his mother is sinking into debt, and at school he is labeled a troublemaker, humiliated because of his weight, and responds with rage.

When Dorin, his classmate, publishes an incident of violence in which he was involved, he finds himself facing an ultimatum: therapy or expulsion from school.

That is how he meets Alon, a therapist whose life is stuck in place. Their encounter changes them both and sets them on a dizzying journey of healing, maneuvers, exercises, funny moments, and music that hits straight in the gut.

Will Viko find his voice and stop running from himself? Will Alon manage to save Viko—and perhaps himself as well? And what will happen when Dorin, the “snitch,” discovers that some things can only be seen up close?

Two Crazy People is a captivating musical play combining drama, humor, and beloved Israeli songs. A story about an inner struggle, finding one’s place in the world, the voice that does not always dare to be heard, and the courage to listen to it.
