The Comedy Theatre — Comedy Israel’s production is not merely a hilarious adventure featuring the “classic characters” of marital-status comedies, but also a highly topical exploration—especially here in Israel—of the subject of “relationships between the sexes.”
A complicated yet familiar situation, unexpected plot twists, and lively musical numbers will captivate the audience, make them laugh uncontrollably, and then—unexpectedly—give them an opportunity to seriously reflect on such serious matters as family relationships, sex, love, the meaning of life, and so on. But most importantly, this is not only a very funny performance, but also a “recipe” for creating an “ideal family.” And for those who do not wish to reflect, it is simply VERY funny!
The songs by Alexander Kachevsky and Semyon Ronkin are performed by the Comedy Theatre’s actors themselves.
