A cultural tour of Jerusalem in the atmosphere of Selichot, on 15/09/2026, departing from the Kiryat Hasharon Community Center in Netanya. Intended for adults.
During the month of Elul, as evening falls over Jerusalem and the alleyways fill with the special atmosphere of the period of the Selichot, we will set out on a tour among stories, traditions, and places that take on a different kind of magic during this time.
Please note: The tour does not include participation in the Selichot events at the Western Wall.
During this period, Jerusalem subtly changes its appearance: synagogues fill with prayers, the alleyways come alive in the evening hours, and ancient traditions meet the city of today. Along the way, we will become acquainted with the world of the Selichot from a cultural and traditional perspective, and hear about the various customs that developed in Jewish communities.
We will pass through Jaffa Gate, Mount Zion, and King David’s Tomb, where we will learn about the figure of King David and the place of prayer in his story. We will then continue through the alleyways of the Jewish Quarter toward the Western Wall area.
A Jerusalem tour inviting you to get to know, listen to, and experience the special atmosphere of the month of Elul—each person in their own way. ✨
