Poetess Rechele Ravvan presents her new poetry book in the format of a literary evening with a live performance. Participants will share personal stories about their encounter with her work, and singers will perform original compositions. The event promises to be a deep emotional experience, full of poetry and music.
For over a decade, poet Racheli Ra'uben has touched the innermost depths of women's souls. She carves poems from her own spirit and echoes them into the world so that women may encounter their own beating hearts and the immense, redeeming powers within them. Hundreds of thousands of women devour and study her verses with eagerness, like cold water for a weary soul, gaining strength to rise each day to face life's challenges, including marriage and parenthood.
Her new book, "Kol Yemei Chayecha" (The Voice of Your Days), is a collection of 355 of her best poems from all her previous books, along with new poems seeing print for the first time. At the launch event, women will share intimate and moving moments from their encounters with Racheli's poetry. Singers Li'at Yitzchaki and Shiran Ben Tov will perform songs based on her poems, which they have set to music, in an evening filled with soulful singing and healing.
