Does talent run in the family? What stories lie behind the names that became the soundtrack of our lives?
In a moving, nostalgia-filled musical event, we will embark on a journey among the families that left their mark on Hebrew song. We will meet Nathan Alterman and Tirza Atar, Yaakov Orland and Shamrit Or, Alexander Penn and Ilana Rubina, Tuvia and Avraham Shlonsky, Naomi Shemer and Ariel Horowitz, Shlomo and Ben Artzi, Yossi and Yuval Banai, Benny and Asaf Amdursky, Yonatan and Aviv Geffen, and more.
Throughout the performance, fascinating stories, behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and songs we all love will be woven in.
A lyric presentation will accompany the performance, inviting the audience to join in singing, experience Israeli classics, and share in the emotion.
Narrator and Host: Yoram Rotem – Radio broadcaster, researcher of Hebrew song, and one of the cultural figures most closely associated with Israeli music. In his lectures and performances, he combines extensive knowledge, fascinating stories, and a deep love for the songs that shaped the country’s soundtrack.
Musical Accompaniment and Vocals: Kfir Oz – Singer, musician, and musical accompanist who gives beloved songs moving performances and invites the audience to join in singing in a warm, nostalgic atmosphere.
