After surviving Auschwitz, Peter Singer arrives in London as a penniless refugee. Singer decides to cling to life, erase the past, and reinvent himself. Little by little, he succeeds in building a thriving real-estate empire; women are captivated by his charm, and the doors of high society in England open to him. When it is revealed that Singer climbed to the top by trampling on and exploiting his tenants, the empire he built faces a real threat.
A colorful, wild, and compelling epic, inspired by the true story of Peter Rachman, the notorious London property tycoon.
