Dawn Tyler Watson presents a tribute to the great mothers of jazz: Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Dinah Washington.
Dawn Tyler Watson, a singer and songwriter from Montreal, has won numerous international awards, including the JUNO 2020 for Blues Album of the Year. She is also a recipient of the Maple Blues Awards for Song of the Year and Best Album/Production, with an additional 6 MBA awards and 9 Lys Blues Quebec awards. She performed with an excellent band led by top guitarist Ben Racine, and earned first place at the International Blues Challenge 2017 in Memphis. Her captivating voice and blend of blues with jazz, soul, rock, and gospel create an unforgettable experience on stages across 4 continents.
Robin continues to perform in jazz clubs and festivals worldwide, combining educational activity, writing, production, and managing jazz series like Sundown Jazz @ V’s Place in Cleveland.
