Due to the overwhelming success at the Latino America Festival and at the request of the audience, the performance of the three virtuosos returns! They will celebrate a shared love for jazz, Latin and South American rhythms, Bach, and the folklore of Buena Vista alongside exciting Latin jazz.

What happens when a Cuban virtuoso musician meets one of the pillars of classical music?

In the show "Bach Jumps to Cuba," the Cuban pianist Chuchito Valdés brings together his Afro-Cuban world with the works of Johann Sebastian Bach (and more) — creating a journey where the boundaries between classical and Latin are erased.

Alongside him stands Omar Acosta, a multi-award-winning Venezuelan flutist and composer, twice nominated for the Latin Grammy. He created the iconic piece Solo de Pajarillo and is an international Yamaha artist. He is known as one of the most prominent Venezuelan flutists of his generation and served as flutist and musical director at the National Ballet of Spain. Together they weave a rich texture where Bach motifs receive new life, fiery Cuban rhythms blend with ancient elegance, and improvisation becomes a tool for uniting worlds.

Costel Nitescu has a unique style conquering the world, flawless technique, and phenomenal virtuosity. If Brazil has four stars on its national football team jersey, Romania deserves at least the same number for its amazing violinists. Costel Nitescu is part of the Romanian jazz violin dream team. At the age of 16, he was the first violin in the Bucharest National Radio Orchestra, and his classical training gave him the remarkable ability to blend into the various musical styles of Central Europe. In the early 2000s, he moved to Paris, where his talent as an improviser quickly placed him at the top of Gypsy jazz.

Chuchito Valdés is the third generation of the legendary Valdés dynasty, a Latin Grammy nominee, former leader of Irakere, and a piano master who combines Afro-Cuban jazz, Caribbean, and swing into an electrifying performance that lights up the stage with swing, groove, and irresistible energy.

This is an evening where Bach embarks on a tropical journey — full of humor, freedom, and creativity — as never heard before!
