Classical music concert by candlelight on November 27, 2026, at Emmaus Nicopolis Monastery, Latrun. Before the concert — a tour.
Bach | Caccini | Handel | Pergolesi
We invite you to the most unusual concert in a monastery church!
All the hustle and bustle will remain outside, and you will immerse yourself in an atmosphere where music meets silence. In the darkness, illuminated by candlelight, masterpieces that have endured through the centuries will come alive. The great works of Bach, Handel, and Vivaldi are not merely music, but a deep meditation and an incredible spectrum of emotions!
Pergolesi — “Stabat Mater”: a piercing confession, music in which eternity can be heard. Contemplative sounds of “Ave Maria.”
Before the concert, we invite you to enjoy a glass of wine.
Olga Senderskaya — soprano
Ilona Toivis — mezzo-soprano
Jerusalem Festival Orchestra (conductor Vladimir Barshevich)
