Walking Along the Kishon | Tour for Senior Citizens | A Pleasant Walk, Nature, Water, and Stories
Walking Along the Kishon – A Story of Water and History
The Kiryat Haroshet Community Center and the Kishon Drainage Authority invite you to join us for a pleasant tour along the Kishon trails, combining walking, nature, water sources, and history.
We will meet at the entrance to Yehuda Trail (Alro’i neighborhood) for a brief opening.
From there, we will head down toward the Kishon River Trail and walk together toward Ha’Amakim Park. Along the way, we will learn about the area’s water sources, hear about the river and its development over the years, and encounter the historical stories that have left their mark on the landscape.
The tour will take place at a comfortable, pleasant pace, with stops for guidance, explanations, and stories along the route. At the end, we will return along the same route to the meeting point.
The tour will be guided by instructors from the Kishon Drainage and Rivers Authority, in cooperation with the Shinshinim community.
🌿 Come walk with us, get to know the Kishon from a different perspective, and discover the stories hidden among the waters.
