This work is a key text of the 20th century, exploring the secrets and mysteries of love, family, and marriage.
Zero Theatre is a professional company based in Israel that works in two languages: Russian and Hebrew. The theatre was founded by Oleg Rodovilsky and Marina Belyavtseva in 2003.
Its repertoire includes more than 35 productions based on works by authors such as Chekhov, Nabokov, Bashevis Singer, Sholem Aleichem, Kobo Abe, Jean Anouilh, Bernard Slade, Edward Albee, and many others.
Over its 20 years of existence, the theatre has participated in and won awards at more than 40 international festivals in various countries, including Denmark, Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria, Russia, Israel, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Moldova, and Uzbekistan.
The productions The Woman in the Dunes, The Enchanted Tailor, Funny Experiments in Love, Eternal Spring, He and She. A Provincial Tour, The Orchestra, and Teibele and Her Demon have received numerous awards for best direction and acting, as well as special jury prizes and audience awards.
In December 2018, the theatre received the prestigious Theatre Star award in the category “Best Russian Theatre Abroad.”
