Yona is the neighborhood mail carrier who knows all the residents of the building and tells their stories. But she does not stop there—sometimes she decides to get involved as well: she sends letters to neighbors who are arguing and even travels to a distant country to remind a deep-sea diver to write to his father, who misses him.
Throughout the performance, the children in the audience help Yona heal an injured letter, write invitations to a building-wide party, and see underwater.
The performance culminates in the party Yona organized, where all the children play music with rustling envelopes and then slip them into the slot of the correct mailbox.
At the end of the performance, the children will make a surprise envelope that they can take home as a keepsake or give to someone they love. When it is illuminated with a flashlight, the artwork hidden inside is revealed.
Creative surprises emerge from the mailboxes: they transform into shadow screens, spread out a sea of envelopes, and even begin to speak!
The coffee cart will be open before the event for your convenience.
