Dr. Alex Gold, a specialist at "Hashikma" Hospital, struggles to cope with the suicide of her husband, Dr. Yonatan Gold, head of the IVF unit, who took his own life within the hospital walls. Wounded, pregnant, yet determined, Alex embarks on a personal, uncompromising investigative journey. As she delves deeper into the case, phenomena of cover-ups, medical corruption, and dark secrets are revealed that threaten to shake the entire hospital.
"Angels in White" is a play about a collapsing healthcare system (not ours), about corruption that undermines even the physician's oath (not among us), and about ordinary people who refuse to stay silent—and manage to make a big impact. This is the debut creation of investigative journalist Gilit Kuzba, formerly of the editorial team of "Edut Ha'aretz" (Fact). All characters and events in the play are the product of the creator's imagination, and any connection between them and reality is purely coincidental.
