A show inspired by the book series by illustrator and author Orit Bergman.
In the book, the space is small and there is not always room for all the characters because La-La the bird and Toto the little elephant love to romp around, Michael the snail is never on time, La-La dresses up as a tigress and frightens everyone, and Toto floats on flying ice cream... What a m-e-s-s! Luckily, Rotem, the actress, is everyone’s friend. She helps, tidies up, makes everyone laugh, tells stories, and even celebrates a birthday!
A show full of imagination and heart, featuring one virtuoso performer with lots of hands and lots of puppets.
The show is based on the characters from the book Mine from Home by author and illustrator Orit Bergman, who participates in the “Pajama Library for Little Ones” program.
“Imagination, emotion, humor, and talent come together to create the children’s show Toto and Friends, inspired by Orit Bergman’s books at The Train Theater. Bergman is also responsible for the scenery and the characters familiar from the books. Each character in the show has a personality of its own and is easy to identify with.”
