Festival Opening Party with DJ Aviran Shapir
The festival’s opening party, attended by Mayor Rafi Saar, will take place in the plaza of the Culture Hall with DJ Aviran Shapir, one of the pioneers of electronic music on Israeli radio.
Aviran began his radio career in 1993 at the pirate station “Galei Hasharon,” with a high-energy indie program.
In 1997, he went on the air at 99FM, where he broadcast chill-out, breakbeat, electro, and freestyle until 2008.
In the meantime, he hosted a jazz program on 88FM, edited CD series, and built up considerable mileage as a DJ at the decks of leading bars and clubs throughout the country.
In addition, Aviran is also a Kfar Saba native! Join us for an evening of excellent music and giant installations created by sustainable-art artists together with students from the art track at Katznelson High School.
