Additional details
The humor. The sensuality. The passion. Soulful songs.
The Spanish glow - all of these in the joint show of Pablo Rosenberg and Gil Shochat!
A unique collaboration between singer and creator Pablo Rosenberg and pianist and conductor Gil Shochat.
Pablo's rhythmic songs are intertwined with the soulful sounds of Argentine music, finding an unexpected common ground on one stage: the Spanish language and melody.
From Spain to Argentina, the great composers of Spanish music brought the harmony of passion, the rhythm and measures that always stem from physical movement and dance, whether it be Seguidilla, Habanera, or Tango.
In a journey through the capitals of Latin music, we will of course also reach Argentina, the place where Pablo was born, and where Rodolfo Paz and Astor Piazzolla also created.
Shochat will connect all of these to classical Spanish works or those related to Spanish culture, by Scarlatti, Bizet, Ravel, Albéniz, and Debussy.
Participants:
Pablo Rosenberg - Singer
Nati Cohen - Drummer
Chaya Yosha - Bass
Gil Shochat - Piano and musical direction
