How Is a Song Born?

Two poets at the beginning of their careers embark on an inspiring journey through books, following the path of Hebrew poetry. Along the way, they encounter three songs by beloved poets:

• Leah Goldberg looks through a window and sees a white flower that does not belong here. She remembers how she, too, once arrived here from a distant place — “Likhinton Melody.”
• Ehud Manor writes “The Cypress Alone” out of longing for a cypress he saw outside his window during his childhood.
• Miriam Yalan-Stekelis walks around with a big question — How do you write about love? — from which the song “Dani the Hero” is born.

The performance reveals the creative process and its exciting, painful, and meaningful stages. A visual-musical theater production designed from books, featuring the sounds and stories behind the songs.
