Come discover what lies beneath the surface!
The Israel Antiquities Authority in Jerusalem opens its doors to families and children for a series of experiential tours, where archaeology becomes an experience of discovery, research, and direct encounter with real artifacts.
Three age-appropriate trails await visitors: "Young Archaeologists," "The Researcher's Notebook," and "Search for the Treasure."
Each trail offers a different perspective on the world of archaeology, from initial exposure to artifacts to solving puzzles and completing tasks.
During the tours, children are exposed to the scientific work behind uncovering the past: exhibitions, laboratories, workshops, and original research materials.
Pre-registration is required via the link. The activity includes a workshop and lasts approximately two hours.
