The bird banding event takes place at the Israel Birding Center in Jerusalem. Participants will have the opportunity to closely observe migratory birds during their brief stopover on their migration route. Measurements are conducted near the benches of the Ariel Pavilion, with the session starting at 08:30. The activity is suitable for adults and children aged five and above; mandatory registration is required.
Bird banding allows you to get within touching distance of those small, colorful birds that make a brief stop in Jerusalem midway through their journey spanning thousands of kilometers.
Guided bird-banding sessions take place on the benches outside Ariel Pavilion at the Jerusalem Bird Observatory.
The session begins at 8:30 AM. Please do not be late!
Suitable for adults and children aged 5 and up.
