In a magical kingdom beneath the sea, lives a mermaid who is tired of being small. Her father and brothers are convinced that humans are dangerous creatures, but she is determined to prove otherwise. She rises above the water’s surface and discovers a young prince there; despite their vast differences, they have much in common. She decides to defy her family and take on human form to give love and peace between the two worlds a chance. Will the two young people succeed where the adults failed?
A funny and touching play with original songs, battles, adventures, and a host of colorful characters, teaching us all that sometimes it is important to swim against the current.
