A show by HaChatzer HaAchora'it on October 31, 2026, at 21:30, at HaDev HaYarok, the ecological park in Hod HaSharon. Featuring songs from their latest album and familiar hits.
Equipped with Ya’ankale Rotblit’s incisive lyrics and an excellent groove, The Backyard band returns to The Bear stage sharper and more honed than ever! Their latest album, The Backyard 3, was released after a decade of activity during which their songs were played nonstop on every radio station in the country and became the soundtrack to every possible protest in Israel. At the show, The Backyard band will perform songs from their latest album: “Will We Know How to Be Born Again” and “Stop the Music”; as well as beloved and familiar hits from their previous albums, including: “Voicemail,” “One of Our Own,” “Whistling in the Dark,” “All the Options on the Table,” “Ticking Time Bomb,” “The Big Story,” and many more.
The Backyard is an intergenerational collaboration project whose members are:
Ya’ankale Rotblit — one of the greatest lyricists of our time, who wrote many Israeli classics for leading artists (Shalom Hanoch, Yehudit Ravitz, Yehuda Poliker, Arik Einstein, Matti Caspi, Shmulik Kraus, and others); Tomer Yosef — (Balkan Beat Box); Itamar Ziegler — (Balkan Beat Box, Evyatar Banai, Teddy Neguse); Gadi Ronen — (“1:1” and “Devek”).
They are joined by Ron Bunker and Tom Meira Armoni, wonderful and beloved musicians who accompany the ensemble on guitar and keyboards. The project was founded through a powerful musical meeting between Rotblit’s world of words and the world of rhythm and harmony of Tomer, Itamar, and Gadi.
