We will set out on musical tours of Paris accompanied by the finest French chanson. Each session will focus on a different area of the City of Light and will be adorned with chansons connected to the places, history, food culture, and famous people of each district.
The sessions will feature a rich variety of songs, film clips, and footage of performances, all translated into Hebrew.
Dr. Aviv Amit — music lecturer, linguist, and researcher of French culture, holding a doctorate from the Sorbonne University in Paris and Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Amit has served as a visiting lecturer at Paris IV University, lectured at international conferences around the world, and specializes in French chanson, sociolinguistics, and French culture in the 20th century.
