This coming December, Chava Alberstein celebrates her 80th birthday, providing an opportunity to revisit the songs that have made her one of the most significant and beloved creators and performers in Israeli culture.

In an intimate and soulful performance, Sharon Keren presents a personal, contemporary interpretation of Chava Alberstein’s songs, in new arrangements that illuminate them from a different perspective—from the greatest hits to lesser-known gems.

Songs include: “Like a Wild Plant,” “Tishrei Song,” “London,” “From the Songs of the Land I Love,” “One Human Tapestry,” and many more.

Alongside Sharon, Yoram Sadeh on guitar; together, they weave a performance that seeks not only to recall the beloved songs, but to listen to them anew—to the words, the stories, and the emotion they have carried with them over the years.

Host: Yoram Rotem, chief music editor at Galatz and an expert in the field of Hebrew song.
