Each session lasts approximately two hours, including a break.
What makes a book impossible to put down—and what makes readers abandon it halfway through?
In the workshop, participants do not start with a blank page. Together, they will read excerpts from books, take them apart, and examine how a story is built from the inside: how to create a believable character, exactly where tension is built, what works—and what does not—and why.
About the instructor: Karin Aharon—author, literary editor, and writing-workshop instructor.
She has published 14 books in Hebrew and English, including the bestselling young-adult series Guardians of the Notebook (Yedioth Books).
The workshop is intended for ages 10 and up, with or without previous writing experience.
The sessions will take place at the Main Library, 56 Sokolov Street, Herzliya.
Places are limited.
Workshop fee: 200 NIS per participant.
