A Memorial and Hope Evening – October 7

Dear community,

We invite you to come together—in unity and shared grief—for the community memorial ceremony commemorating the events of October 7. The ceremony will center on remembrance, hope, and strengthening our community bond, and will be held in the presence of dear families who lost their loved ones on that terrible day.

We will hear from members of our community:

• David Arviv—a heroic father who went out to save his daughter that morning and succeeded against all odds.
• Ayla Oren Avraham—who will tell us the love story between her and her husband, who sacrificed himself for her in the face of the terrorists. He was murdered, but she continues his legacy.
• Naomi Gerbi—a lioness mother, mother of Staff Sergeant Uri Gerbi, of blessed memory, from Herzliya, who was 20 when he fell in battle in the Gaza Strip.
• Michal Wiener—the extraordinary mother of director and creator Yahav Wiener, of blessed memory, who protected his wife, Shai-Lee Atary, and their infant daughter in Kfar Aza.

Together, we will embrace the families, carry the memory of the fallen, and remember those who are no longer with us.

Please note:

• Attendees are asked to wear white (optional).
• A space for personal reflection and lighting memorial candles will be set up at the venue.
• A fair will be held where you can purchase artwork created by bereaved mothers.
• Begins at 19:00.
