Peter Pan - The Musical

Li Biran, Sasson Gabai, and Mashi Kleinstein will star in the new version of the original and beloved 1988 musical, which will be staged in August 2026 at the Performing Arts Center in Tel Aviv.
Peter Pan, the iconic 1988 musical that became a cultural phenomenon, is returning to the stage more than 35 years after its premiere. Hanoch Rosen, who played Peter Pan in 1988, will direct the new musical, which will take the stage this coming summer and connect a new generation to the beloved songs and story.
The musical will star:
- Li Biran as Peter Pan
- Mashi Kleinstein as Wendy
- Sasson Gabai, who will complete an emotional circle by returning to the role of Captain Hook, which he played in the original version
- Linoy Cohen / Tal Levi as Tiger Lily
- Ofir Weil as Smee
- Asaf Levi and Gilad Brown as John and Michael
- Hanan Schwarzberg, Liam Pinto, Timothy Snikoff, and others as the Lost Boys
The musical Peter Pan, which first premiered in Israel in 1988 starring Hanoch Rosen, Hani Nahmias, and Sasson Gabai, became one of the most successful musicals in the history of the Israeli stage and a cultural phenomenon. It included a video cassette, a song album, and a book that an entire generation of children grew up with, along with beloved songs that became cult classics, such as “The Night Must Come,” “We’re Flying,” and “Blood Pact.”
Peter Pan 2026 will offer audiences an exciting experience for parents and children alike: a grand, unforgettable production bringing the magic of Neverland to the stage according to the highest international standards. The original and beloved musical is receiving a spectacular new adaptation combining unique, innovative flight technology brought especially from abroad to Israel, original songs, and immense sets. This is a large-scale and special production that will connect the new with the beloved nostalgia and surprise audiences.
