You have probably seen or heard Shlomo Baby Baby—on stage performing alongside Guri Alfi, Zvika Hadar, or Assaf Mor Yosef; perhaps on Reshet 13’s morning show as a panelist; or, like everyone else, through his stand-up clips on social media.

Shlomo Baby Baby is one of the rising names in Israel’s stand-up scene. For more than a decade, he has performed on the country’s most prestigious stages with an original stand-up show he wrote.

The sharp show courageously, honestly, and uniquely addresses every aspect of life in a particularly funny way. One of the reasons for the show’s uniqueness is that Shlomo is the son of immigrants from Ethiopia. He discusses cultural and intergenerational gaps, childhood experiences, racism, and social inequality in a way that makes everyone look at the bigger picture from a slightly different angle—one that is surprising and, above all, funny.

Shlomo has also made several television appearances, including in the documentary series Eretz Levana, Shai BaShidur, and HaKolot HaTzafim; participated in sketches on comedy programs on Teddy Channel; and appeared in the Emmy Award-winning series Nevsu.

In addition, Shlomo broadcast on Kan Tarbut, the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation’s radio station. He also collaborated with Kan’s digital division and led videos that went viral.
