Workshop dates: Daily workshops for children during Sukkot
Daily science workshops for children at MadaTech Haifa, September 27–30, 2026. The activities include experiments, crafts, building, and tours of the museum.
During the intermediate days of Sukkot, workshops for children in grades 1–6 will be held at MadaTech. The workshops combine scientific activities, experiments, demonstrations, arts and crafts, building, and tours of the museum’s exhibitions, inviting boys and girls to enjoy an enriching, intriguing, and especially fun experience. Participants may choose and register for one or more workshops. Some workshops last one day and others two days, depending on the activity program and age group. Workshops will open subject to a minimum number of registrants.
The Creating Workshop
In the Creating Workshop, the children will become acquainted with the world of movement through scientific and creative experiences. During the workshop, they will explore how humans, robots, and machines move; discover which mechanisms enable different types of movement; build moving models; and gain experience in planning, creating, and building. The workshop combines hands-on activity, exploration, creative work, and tours of the museum’s exhibitions.
Two-day workshop:
- For children completing grades 1–3: Sunday and Monday, 28.9 and 27.9
- For children completing grades 4–6: Tuesday and Wednesday, 30.9 and 29.9

The Exploring Workshop
In the Exploring Workshop, the children will dive into diverse scientific worlds through experiments, demonstrations, and investigative activities. During the workshop, they will learn about the principles of center of mass and balance, participate in an engineering and movement workshop, explore basic principles of electricity, and take part in a maker electricity workshop. In addition, they will watch demonstrations on fire and water, participate in a chemical activity using indicators, become acquainted with the world of the cell, use microscopes, and tour the museum’s exhibitions.
Two-day workshop:
- For children completing grades 1–3: Tuesday and Wednesday, 30.9 and 29.9
- For children completing grades 4–6: Sunday and Monday, 28.9 and 27.9

Young Astronauts
In the Young Astronauts Workshop, the children will become acquainted with the world of space through scientific activities and a variety of hands-on experiences. During the day, they will participate in a planetarium activity, explore how light helps us learn about space, take part in a spectroscopy workshop, watch demonstrations on space travel and settlement, learn about solar research, participate in a chemical garden workshop, and tour the exhibitions in the Space Wing.
One-day workshop:
- For children completing grades 1–3: Thursday, 1.10
- For children completing grades 4–6: Thursday, 1.10
