A children’s play about the friendship between the city mouse and the country mouse. 16/09/2026 at 17:30 at Yad LaBanim House in Haifa.
Bobby and Chupchik are two mice who grow up as best friends until their paths diverge—Bobby moves to the big city, while Chupchik settles in nature, in the open fields.
Years later, Bobby the city mouse comes to visit his friend. Chupchik is thrilled by the reunion, but his urban friend suffers through the visit—from the food and the atmosphere, and he cannot even sleep. He insists that his country friend come visit the city so he can show him where “the good life” really is.
Chupchik readily agrees, but the visit, which begins with enthusiasm over the wonders of the city, ends in mortal danger and great disappointment. The two friends, who had thought they would never part again, realize that what is good for one is not necessarily good for the other, and that each person needs something different. We can respect another person’s needs and preferences—and still remain good friends forever.
