A lecture by Noa Berman-Herzberg on September 3, 2026, at Goldmund Books, Second-Hand Bookshop, in Haifa. About missed opportunities, “almost” stories, and pickling in jars.
What is the connection between missed opportunities in life and pickling in jars? What links the stories of “almost,” “maybe,” and “what if”?
The “Serial Pickler,” the lively alter ego of Noa Berman Herzberg, a screenwriter and lecturer at Bezalel, is coming to Haifa for the first time.
In a bittersweet gathering, filled with honesty and humor, she will share the insights and discoveries she has accumulated over ten years, during which she heard more than 500 stories of missed opportunities. She will discuss recurring patterns, what can be learned from them, and more.
Sharply honed words will be accompanied by sips of pickle juice from the Berman-Herzberg pickle bar.
The lecture is free, with advance registration.
On September 3, Talpiot Market invites you to the “For the Sake of Taste” Festival—a day of tastings, workshops, and meetings introducing the world of fermentation, beneficial bacteria, and the flavors created thanks to them!
