Ingmar lives in the heart of a small, idyllic village in Sweden—a small, irritable, measured life. His relationship with his daughter has deteriorated in recent years, his neighbor never stops annoying him, and it seems that the only thing he still cares about is the roses of his late wife, growing peacefully in the yard.
When the hottest and driest summer the village has ever experienced drags on and on, Ingmar finds himself in the spotlight when a genuine miracle—or a complete coincidence—comes his way.
