The Israeli automobile industry has been woven into the history of the life of the State of Israel since its founding.
The fascinating story of the establishment of this industry in Haifa gives us a glimpse into the vision that sought to make Israel part of the world automobile club. The automobile factories, and especially the Avtokars plant that assembled the famous Susita, have been a significant chapter in the country's history for three decades.
This chapter touches on many aspects of the character of a young country that believed in its ability to become an industrial empire with a fiberglass car at its core. To this day, it is a smile-inducing symbol that embodies the Israeliness of the past. The car, its capabilities and durability were the subject of stories, legends and anecdotes.
The city of Haifa plays an important role in this story as an industrial city. The first decades of the State of Israel were characterized by many initiatives, many of which took place in the northern city. The Haifa City Museum allows you to learn about this chapter of the city's history and the stories of the people behind the legend of the Israeli car. It is an inspiring story that presents different historical, nostalgic and modern views on a small dream named Susita.

The students of the Visual Communication Department of the Vicho Academic Center, University of Haifa, rebranded Sosita in different ways, when selected works will be presented at the exhibition, and the students of the Digital Game Design Department of Tilatan College created digital games (computer games and computer games; mobile game) that visitors to the exhibition will be able to enjoy.

The exhibition includes an active booklet for children, where they can independently think about their new invention and creatively learn about the history of the Sosita car. In addition, next to the exhibition space, there will be a room for activities and creativity, adapted for families, allowing them to independently create on the theme of Susita and cars. For example: folding a car, postcards for coloring and sending, and much more. And in the courtyard of the museum, next to real Susita models, a modular car track in Haifa will be built, where children can decide for themselves what their ride will be!
