A children’s play about Gulliver, a cabin boy who becomes a giant in the land of Lilliput. At the Kalor Leisure Center in Hadera, for ages 4–8.
Gulliver, the little cabin boy, dreams of becoming a sea captain and explorer. Everyone around him mocks him, saying he is too small and weak to steer a ship on his own. He makes a wish to be as big as a ship and as strong as the waves, but before he can finish making his wish, a storm breaks out and the ship is wrecked on the shore.
Gulliver finds himself in Lilliput—a strange land whose inhabitants are tiny. The tiny inhabitants of Lilliput crown Gulliver the giant protector of Lilliput, and he promises to always look after them. Very quickly, Gulliver discovers that being big and strong is not so simple—he is asked to do things he does not like, such as harming the inhabitants of the neighboring land of Archipelutz, crushing their ships, and even destroying the noisy machine invented by his best friend.
Gulliver feels the loneliest and saddest in the world and regrets ever wishing to become so big and strong. But then he realizes that true wisdom is using his strength for good—to make peace and act with love.
