At the center of the story is Mani Mamtara and Nofiki’s small and funny doughnut shop. It is always delicious and fun to eat the traditional, mouthwatering doughnuts of the Hanukkah holiday here, but the joy becomes even greater thanks to Sophie—a huge talking doughnut whom everyone wants to taste and see. Sophie appeared thanks to Mani’s recipe, which went slightly awry.

Meanwhile, at the luxurious “Donuts Express” store, Kmtsniki and Inbali realize that Sophie, the “new attraction,” threatens their business, and decide to steal her, along with the secret family recipe for the traditional doughnut shop—a recipe passed down from generation to generation in the Mamtara family.
