An evening exploring the imagination and connection between the two languages Yiddish and Ladino, known as "two languages of one soul." The event includes stories, parables, jokes, and songs highlighting the shared humor and longing of both cultures. The performance is directed and narrated by Yosi Alfi, with vocals by Kobi Zarco and Noa Bizenski, piano by Maksim Svetlov, and collaboration from many other artists.

Yes! It is true. There is much in common between Yiddish and Ladino. Yiddish originated in Central and Eastern Europe, while Ladino emerged after the expulsion from Spain. Both languages possess stories, fables, jokes, and abundant humor. In both tongues, laughter serves as a means of preserving life. Both feature songs that touch the soul directly. Both evoke a profound sense of longing.
